Polka Dots & Tribals & Cutouts, Oh My!

In my days blogging, I've learned some styles of nail art just stay popular and people seem to like them more than others. Two that always get me a lot of compliments are polka dots and tribal designs. So I decided to combine them and throw in some nude nail cutouts to make it interesting.

Yea, I'm pretty much in love with these.

I love how my right pointer finger kind of looks like a bird face.

I used Wet N' Wild - Tickled Pink for the base and Wet N' Wild - Black Creme and a Kiss Nail Art Striper in black for the designs.

I love doing tribal nails just to play and come up with different designs on each nail. Throw in polka dots and cutouts and you've got the icing AND the cherry!

Pink Splatter - The Easy Way

So here's the situation: you want splatter nails. It's late, you're tired, and you don't want to mess with a straw and the long cleanup. You think of the saran wrap method, but you don't have any on hand. What's a girl to do? Improvise, honey!

I did these entirely with polishes and a paper towel. I tore off pieces of the paper towel, made it into an S-shape, painted polish along the edge then randomly stamped it all over my nail. All the splatter goodness without the crime scene level of cleanup (remember my Slaughterhouse nails?)

The base on these is Sinful Colors - Bianca then I used Wet N' Wild - Tickled Pink, Sinful Colors - Cinderella, and Sinful Colors - Glass Pink for the splatters.

Easy, mess-free splatter? Yes please!

Black & White & Dots & Stripes

Well hey there. It's been a minute. I'd feel silly if I started this post and just jumped right in to the nail art, but suffice it to say it's been a crazy, busy time. Perhaps some stories will find their way into my posts, but for sure the nail art will.

This is the most recent design I did. Black & white. Simple with a twist.

I used Wet N' Wild - Black Creme, Sinful Colors - Snow Me White, and black & white Kiss nail art stripers. I promise I actually did get some new polishes during my time away but I do love my standbys haha.

And holy crap when I logged in, I was surprised to see this:

16,000 page views? Thanks to all the followers that haven't unfollowed and all the people who actually still take the time to check this blog out. I know I sometimes get emails about people who pin images on Pinterest or follow via Bloglovin' and I really do truly appreciate it!
