Precious Petals Gradient

So after that dark and edgy (maybe? lol) mani, I was ready for something lighter. I grabbed Wet N' Wild Chrome - Precious Petals because I wanted to see what it looked like outside of stamping. I love this polish, it might be the first polish that I pick up a backup for.

Here's one pic from inside, the rest were all taken outdoors. Gotta love the Cali sunshine. :]
Check out the bits of copper flash. This polish is so beautiful.

I used:
Wet N' Wild Chrome - Precious Petals
Wet N' Wild Wild Shine - French White Creme
Konad M63

For the record, French White Creme works for stamping too! I don't think I've ever seen anyone using it to stamp, it's always the WnW black, so I tried it. It almost comes out like a sticker and sometimes you need to push some of the edges down, but it works!

Leather, Studs, & Heart Cutouts

Hey guys! That title is probably going to get me some WILD searches and stuff coming up on my stats page I bet. :p

I kind of stumbled upon this mani. I didn't know what to do and tried my first cutout accent nail. I used mainly the brush of the polish and a toothpick to help it a bit. I really really loved the result though. These remind me to Rihanna.

I went with some silver dots on the other nails and wanted them to look like studs. China Glaze - Millenium is the BEST silver. It's opaque, it dries fast, it's so shiny, you can use it for stamping, and it looks like foil when it's on an entire nail. LOVE.

I used:
Wet N' Wild - Black Creme
China Glaze - Millenium
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Clearly Quick

What do you think? What do they remind you of? Who wants to bet on what dirty things wind up on my stats page? I kid you not, one of my recent searches was part of my username and "nude"... I found it interesting.

Pink Leopard Freehand

Hey guys! I've been super busy lately and I've been doing a lot of Spring cleaning. The day after my remix post I painted my nails with Wet N' Wild Wild Shine - Tickled Pink, a pretty light pink creme that I picked up while WnW was 69 cents at Rite Aid. I'm not sure if it was the WnW or the Sally Hansen Insta Dri - Clearly Quick that I put on top, but this stayed on SO GOOD. Really, I did so much cleaning and these babies didn't chip a bit!

I've been wanting to try doing leopard print by hand instead of using my Konad M57.  I went with THIS tutorial by Rebecca to learn how to do it. I picked Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Espresso for the colored spots and used Wet N' Wild Wild Shine - Black Creme to outline. As usual, I wielded a toothpick as my tool of choice. "Wielded" makes everything sound more hardcore, doesn't it?

I think I did ok. I didn't have the tutorial page up to look at while I did it, and I did these a few days after reading the tutorial, so I'd do it a bit differently on my next attempt. I'm satisfied though!

Do you call this leopard or do you call it cheetah?

Still Believin' In Magic...

Hey guys! I'm still rockin my contest entry nails. I had some tip wear and a few chips so I covered them up with Sinful Colors - Nail Junkie. Awesome name right? Since I only did the tips, this ended up looking like a cool gradient.

If this post were a song, I'd be screaming REEEEEMIX right now. :]

That's all for now. I've got a few good ideas so I can use some of my new Wet N' Wild polishes. Hopefully I'll have the time to actually do them!
